It’s been over a year since we announced that we’d be working on the NASH project. Since then, the film has gone through several edit phases. We received the final cut two-months ago and began our scoring of the film. Our goal was to have musical score follow the progression of Steve’s career. We wanted to capture the highs, lows, hopes, and failures during his transcendence to stardom, while creating the overarching sense that sound gets bigger and grows with his career.
We used orchestral compositions to highlight the epic battle between the Phoenix Suns and LA Lakers. Ambient pads and pianos helped to play the background to more of the somber, emotional moments. While our groove related cues picked up the film to add energy and contrast.
We hope you enjoy the film. Make sure to spread the word!!
