Our shoot with Musqueam Golf Course was eventful. Aside from hanging with the team at Musqueam, and shooting a few balls at the range we managed to take a couple photos. During our last location on the practice green we heard a loud, THUD! Crash BANG! Turns out someone trying to get home ended up falling asleep at the wheel and ran his car into a ditch! Not something one expects at a golf course, however it made the shoot much more interesting.
What an awesome experience getting to do some product photography. In a spurt of engineering inspiration we created our own soft-box for the shoot. Using cardboard, white felt sheets, cardboard stock, and some good’ol fashion sweat. It worked out perfect and the pictures prove it.
Here’s some new photos we took for MII Modern Motive. Taking pictures of models for 4 hours is tough work… I mean who would want to subject themselves to such horrendous working conditions? Kidding aside, it’s always fun to kick it with the good folks at MII. We’re gunning to add new catalog items every few weeks, plus expanding the MII campaign to incorporate a video look book!! Last week we had a blast shooting some catalog photos for MII Modern Motive Clothing. The music was blasting the peanuts were rampant and the lights were hot!! Thanks to Joshes Photography for lending us a hand and thanks to Linh for preparing all the looks. We’ll be using these photos for the NEW MII Modern Motive website–Coming soon!
