Breathing new life into a brand.
Dr. Kwong of JK Orthodontics asked Noodle Wave to revamp the company’s website and bring a fresh approach to its marketing strategy. Although the brand had some presence, it needed an overhaul. Dr. Jeff is a fun-loving guy with a downright comedic nature. Yet, this wasn’t coming through on his site or in his marketing materials. There was a gap between the in-office experience and what people saw online. We knew creating a more authentic presentation was the key.
It was during the ‘Think’ part of our process that we caught on to Dr. Kwong’s personality. We captured how intuitive he was with his patients’ needs, his self-proclaimed geeky sense of humor and his passion for serving his community. In the ‘Do’ stage, we built a website that showcased all of the unique aspects of his clinic and developed content and initiatives to increase conversions while also communicating his personal vision to help breast cancer survivors. The end result is a marketing and brand presence that looks and sounds like Dr. Kwong.
Personality goes a long way
At Noodle Wave, our fundamental goal is to ensure our clients present a brand voice that is authentic to them. There’s no better catalyst for conversion than being oneself. For Dr. Kwong to have his personality hidden behind the veil for so long was a missed opportunity. Good thing we caught on and unleashed his charm to the masses.
Incorporating design elements from JK Orthodontics’ clinic aesthetic and branding into the site helped to bring together the practice’s true identity. We also crafted intelligent lead funnels and sprinkled social proof throughout so it’s now a conversion tool instead of just a pretty website.
We created a bright, fun design theme that incorporated the branding and used it across the website, social posts, collateral materials and corporate package.
Not only does Jeffrey Kwong Orthodontics give their patients outstanding care and results, the practice is also deeply involved in the community and just really, really fun. As part of our efforts to showcase Dr. Kwong’s personality, his practice’s value propositions and the atmosphere at the office, we put together a brand video focused on what sets Jeffrey Kwong Orthodontics apart. By pulling content from social media and stitching it together, our team created an authentic video that’s representative of the brand without the time and expense associated with hiring a videography company. We used the video on the website and as the centerpiece for a lead funnel.
So, how does Dr. Kwong’s audience feel about his true personality? Based on the fantastic results, we’d say he’s a hit. With PPC campaigns bringing in new patients and his site’s visibility growing by leaps and bounds, embracing authenticity has paid off.
